Unlike Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke has praised her colleague Iyabo Ojo for bringing her ex-husband to their daughter’s wedding, Priscilla Ojo.
Recall that in March 2025, Tope Alabi’s daughter Ayomikun married her stepfather, Soji Alabi, instead of her actual father, who was not present at the wedding.
In contrast, the father of Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, attended both the traditional and church wedding rituals.
Ronke praised Iyabo Ojo in an appearance on Oyinmomo TV, stating that she sacrificed a lot for her children when they were very little, even though their father was not around.
The actress claimed to have taken a lesson from the mother of two and will now show her greater respect.
Given that Ayomiku is old enough to express her desires, Ronke said Nigerians shouldn’t hold the singer responsible for keeping her ex-husband out of her daughter’s wedding.

She said, “Iyabo Ojo deserves praise.” Priscilla and her brother were constantly together when they were little. As a mother, she is devoted. After seeing Priscilla’s father at the wedding, I now have a greater regard for her. She taught me a lesson as well.
“Tope Alabi’s refusal to let her daughter’s father attend her wedding shouldn’t be held against her. Perhaps the 27-year-old daughter was the one who objected to seeing her father. She’s an adult. Had she truly desired her father, she would have persuaded her mother. I don’t condone Tope’s actions, but let’s be forgiving of her. You all saw her father at the wedding, which I’m sure Priscilla wanted.
