After a brief illness, veteran Nollywood actress Nkechi Nweje passed suddenly.
Nkechi’s coworker Stanley Ontop reportedly announced the death on his Instagram profile on Friday.

Many Nollywood celebs have paid respect to the late actress on social media.
Additionally, Nollywood actor Segun Arinze has refuted online reports that he is sick and requires treatment.
There were speculations that Arinze had given an explanation after images of him looking frail and having a large stomach went popular on social media.
However, in a video uploaded to his Instagram page on Friday, the actor asserted that he was in good health.

He went on to say that the images circulating online do not accurately depict his current health; they were taken on a movie set.
Segun Arinze also urged followers not to fall for scams and appreciated everyone who had gotten in touch with them by phone and SMS.
Under the guise of assisting him with his medical treatment, the movie star cautioned the public against giving money to anyone.
