Victor Ndoma-Egba, the former majority leader of the Senate, has denied any intention to phase out political involvement.
Senator Ndoma-Egba reportedly stated that some of his friends are still serving as university professors and justices of the Supreme Court.
The senator, who has served three terms, said he would keep speaking for his people in an interview in Calabar.
In order to speak for his people, the former Senate Majority Leader emphasized that he did not have to be in a political position.
Speaking for your people doesn’t require you to be an official. It’s too late to keep quiet; God didn’t bring me this far,” he remarked.
He claims that while discussing his 2019 Senate campaign, he was asked if he was too old for politics after speaking with someone about it.
The Justices of the Supreme Court, my classmates who are still serving, haven’t retired, Ndoma-Egba said. Professors at universities continue to teach as well.
Ahead of the 2027 election, he has not yet made a decision, but he stated that he would keep speaking for his people.

Whether from the palace or the trenches, he said, “I will still be speaking for my people.”
Governor Bassey Otu’s efforts in the state were also praised by the former senator from Cross River Central.
“The administration of Senator Bassey Otu is returning governance to the established, conventional approaches that we are accustomed to.”
The previous eight years were a trial run for several styles, many of which lacked empirical support. “Otu is now returning governance to what we learned in school,” the Daily Post said.
