Amnesty International has criticised the occupation of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (DSS) office in Abuja by operatives of the Department of State Services.
DSS operatives had earlier on Monday stormed the SEPAP office and demanded to meet with the organization’s directors.
The invasion of the agency’s office came just 24 hours after it urged President Bola Tinubu to reverse the latest hike in fuel pump price.

“Amnesty International received a disturbing report of the unlawful invasion of the Abuja office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project by operatives of the DSS. President Bola Tinubu is going too far in his government’s repressive efforts to silence dissenting voices,” it wrote.
