Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has criticized feminists and Nigerian celebrities for not endorsing Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District.
He bemoaned the fact that ladies have not stood with Akpoti-Uduaghan the way they did for Annie Idibia throughout their divorce battle with 2Face.
Speaking on Instagram, he bemoaned the fact that while people have been talking about the Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje Lamborghini Scandal, they haven’t investigated the claim of sexual harassment.
“I completely support Senator [Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan] in the sexual harassment case in the Senate,” he declared. Because this accusation [against the Senate President] is not even new to her. The silence of these so-called female activists is disgusting.
They discuss Burna Boy’s apparent breach of his pledge to Sophia Egbueje, but they avoid discussing more significant issues.

Things like these cannot go on in this nation. It is quite serious what that woman [Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan] is stating. And, despite the fact that everyone had something to say to defend Annie against 2face, the celebrities will not publicly stand by her in this type of situation.
“Many of these celebrities, particularly Nollywood actors and actresses, are able to avoid speaking out on this type of issue because they receive fictitious funding from the government. I beg Nigerian women to stand with Natasha, even though I am unable to publicly demonstrate in favor of her.
