In order to provide young adults and youth with the necessary skills to generate revenue and become self-sufficient, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Youth Convention, Region 46, Abuja, has given them sewing machines, hair dryers, clippers, and other equipment.
Additionally, the church stated that the goal of this program was to help the grantees bridge the gap between financial empowerment and skill development.
In his remarks during the RCCG Living Spring Youth Convention in Abuja and the equipment distribution to the recipients, Ola Adejubee, Pastor-In-Charge of Region 46, RCCG, Abuja, urged the nation’s Christian community to start empowering young people for a better country.
The pastor also exhorted clergymen across to refocus youth’s focus on learning skills for the country’s development, while encouraging young people to keep sharing God’s word for historic success.

“Keep your focus on something, pray, and see God’s manifestation in everything you do,” he continued.
The host and Regional Youth Pastor for RCCG Region 46, Pastor Kayode Emosu, also spoke at the event and stated that raising the living standards of Nigerian youths was the main goal of empowerment.
He said that empowering young people would result in a sharp decline in crime and criminal activity nationwide, not just in Abuja.
In order to guarantee a decrease in crime and criminal activity in Nigeria, he urged the government at all levels to invest in people, particularly the youth.

“We want to incentivize everyone,” he stated. Therefore, we believed that we could get everyone on the same page.
Additionally, the wife of Regional Youth Pastor Region 46, Pastor Mrs. Victoria Emosu, encouraged the young people to focus on their abilities and refrain from wearing offensive clothing.
The youth empowerment program has delighted Pastor Segun Ademola.
Ademola also exhorted the recipients to utilize the tools they were given wisely in order to improve both their own and society’s standing.
Additionally, Mr. Chris Mayomi, a recipient, praised the organizers for the initiative.
Mayomi clarified that he was provided with sewing machine equipment, which he claimed would enable him to grow his company and elevate his standing as a fashion designer.
Rebecca Williams also praised the organizers for the empowerment.
“God has been using the church to empower the youth, and I pray that the organizers continue to see God’s favor,” she said.
