The brother of renowned Nigerian artist 2Face, Charles Idibia, commonly known as Charlybrave, has expressed his emotions to the singer in a moving open letter.
Charles complimented 2Face for his calm and passionate personality in a long Instagram post, comparing him to a “modern day Jesus” who quietly takes criticism and blame to protect people who are to fault for his hardships.
However, Charles made harsh accusations against Natasha Osawuru, his brother’s current partner, saying she is the cause of the trouble. He gave examples of purported manipulation, such as cutting 2Face off from both his personal and professional lives.
Charles stressed the value of putting his legacy and his seven children first, urging his brother 2Face to put social media aside and concentrate on his recovery and introspection.
“To my dear @official2baba my,” he wrote. I won’t even try to convey how much I love you because there aren’t enough words in the English language.
“To the kind, gentle, loving, peaceful person who would never purposely harm a fly, who would lose multiple businesses to avoid conflict, who ensures that everyone is comfortable despite his own discomfort, who becomes silent, and who watches himself being portrayed as the villain in order to shield the same person portraying him as such.”
“To the most incredibly gifted musician I have ever heard, who I would venture to call the contemporary Jesus Christ of Nigeria due to the innocence and purity of your heart.”
Today, I implore you to “WAKE UP! Saving yourself and moving on from a situation where you were on the verge of losing your life and soul cannot be considered a crime. However, you have been caught in the middle of an industrial furnace.
“It’s one thing for a girlfriend to snoop in your phone and read messages out of curiosity or for other relationship reasons (it can even come off as cute), but a girlfriend who breaks into your phone to announce your divorce, because she had doubts about you going through with it, who posts and deletes a picture of herself on your socials and ask Nigerians to help you beg her to marry her while you sleep, who clones your what’sapp, deletes messages she doesn’t like and replies messages pretending to be you to steam roll her agendas, a control freak inside your emails and your accounts, who convinces you to abandon your management and businesses in Lagos and move to Abuja, just to become her arm candy and dragged all over Benin and to places the real you will definitely not go, who would make you defend lies and tolerate chaos , who would sabotage your business trips, who would do a whole lot of rubbish (I will not mention here out of shame) and hide under your name, who would adopt your surname, tell strangers, and whoever cares to listen, that she is your wife while you are still legally.”

Online debate has been triggered by the post, with admirers responding to Charles’ assertions.
Below are a few of the responses:
“This is really sad, and it’s even more heartbreaking to think that this lady has diminished our legend to nothing,” @ehijay_ stated. I hope he escapes this enslavement.
“God bless you, he needs all the help he can get,” @yettyclesia said.
“God, please just protect our 2baba from all of this madness and restore his peace and happiness because this is getting out of hand,” wrote @official_lolah.
@kiki. “My brother, God is awake and watching; darkness can never shine over light,” Derika responded.
“You couldn’t have put it better: Inno is such a wonderful person to be here all the time,” @eleyi1 stated. How is he selecting his women? He needs to do some real introspection.
Remember how earlier this year, Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia’s mother, Rose Idibia, expressed concern over her son’s connection with Edo politician Natasha Osawuru?
She claimed that by putting beads on 2Face’s head and neck, Natasha was able to spiritually capture him.
