Self-styled Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, Simon Ekpa, has voiced support to the Canada-based Nigerian woman, Amaka Patience Sunnberger, who has been in the news for calling on Igbo people to poison Yoruba and Benin people.
While many Nigerians have vilified Sunnberger including the House of Representatives who called on the Canadian authorities to arrest and prosecute her, Ekpa has, however, urged support for her, claiming her outburst was as a result of years of the Igbos being bullied by other Nigerian tribes.
“Our sister in Canada must be protected, her comment of poisoning is as a result of long term bullying by the Nigerians she threatened,” Ekpa wrote on his X handle on Friday.
“She is not just a victim of bullying but she is a victim of murder, they have murdered her spiritually during the election, they murdered her even before the election, the accumulated anger pushed her to speak, so the Biafra Government will provide legal services if need be.
“Nigeria and Nigerians have murdered her people physically in Lagos and other part of Nigeria. They have inflicted on her mental torture, it is only true Biafrans that will under(stand) the reason a woman will be bold to make such statements on social media.
“She only talked while the killers are practically killing her people and there is no outrage. Those defunct Ohaneze disowning her has been banned in Biafraland and as i speak they can never gather anywhere in Biafraland to have meeting of Ohaneze.
“I challenge to announce that they are having meeting of Ohaneze anywhere in Biafraland.”
