The South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 has recorded a major milestone with its successful international launch in Paris, France, signaling the growing global footprint of the movement and its expanding support base among Nigerians in the diaspora.
The historic event took place against the iconic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, where Arewa sons and daughters residing across France and Europe gathered in unity, cultural pride, and renewed political commitment toward Nigeria’s democratic future.
The launch was led by the Director-General, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibrin ‘Sampam’, who officially unveiled the movement alongside friends and associates in the diaspora. The occasion reflected the strength, organization, and international acceptance of the South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda.
Addressing participants, the Director-General called on the entire Arewa community in France and across Europe to intensify mobilisation for Independent National Electoral Commission Voters Card registration, stressing that political participation remains the cornerstone of democratic relevance. He also urged members in the diaspora to encourage and support eligible voters at home to obtain their PVCs ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Alhaji Shehu Sampam further emphasized the importance of structured political engagement by mobilising Arewa supporters for membership registration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across states, local governments, and wards in Nigeria, noting that unity within party structures is key to sustained political success.
The Paris chapter of the APC, coordinated by its Secretary, Ibrahim Torino, played a supportive role in the successful hosting of the event, reaffirming the commitment of party members in Europe to the Renewed Hope Agenda and progressive governance ideals.
With the Paris launch now concluded, the South-West Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 has strengthened its resolve to mobilise, educate, and unite Arewa communities at home and abroad, reinforcing its readiness to contribute meaningfully toward a successful and inclusive 2027 general election.
