Many people in the Southeast now view the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the preferred political platform, according to George Agbakahi, Coordinator of the President Bola Tinubu Support Group.
Agbakahi said that Tinubu has made significant contributions to the Southeast during an appearance on Arise Television’s The Morning Show on Friday.
According to him, a lot of Igbos are now changing their political stance since they think the area made a “huge mistake” in their voting behavior during the national elections in 2023.
He mentioned the recent APC zonal congress in Enugu, which he said was well-attended by party members, stakeholders, and non-members, and that it demonstrated growing support for the party in the area.
Additionally, Agbakahi praised President Bola Tinubu for what he called notable advancements in the nation’s infrastructure and industrialization, particularly in the South-East.
“We in the South-East believe that we made a huge mistake in the last election in 2023,” he stated. We now know where to go. APC is the place to go. The majority of people in the Southeast support the APC.
