The Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hyacinth Dajoh, has presented official vehicles to members of the House as part of efforts to enhance their legislative duties.
He also handed over an official vehicle to the Clerk of the Benue State House of Assembly, John Hwande.
Recall that following the inauguration of the 10th Assembly, some members had not yet received official vehicles, which had posed challenges to the smooth execution of their responsibilities.
According to a statement on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Terver Zamber, those presented with the official vehicles are Douglas Akya, Anyor Matu and Peter Uche.
Others are Abu Edo, Abu Umoru and Ezra Nyiyongu.
He said the lawmakers expressed deep appreciation to the Speaker for prioritizing their welfare and equipping them to perform their duties more effectively.
Zamber said they also pledged their unwavering support to his leadership, assuring him of their cooperation to move the Assembly forward.
