Veteran Nigerian juju singer and songwriter Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye popularly known as King Sunny Ade has addressed longstanding rumours of dating late singer Onyeka Onwenu.
During a condolence visit to the late singer’s family, King Sunny Ade explained why he did not respond to rumours of a romantic relationship between himself and Onyeka Onwenu.

In an honest statement, KSA stated that the allegations were a calculated marketing tactic to support their popular song, “Wait for Me.” “That was a gimmick we did,” he disclosed.
