The world’s leading video-centric social media platform, Tiktok owned by ByteDance has rolled out new direct messaging features to boost engagement on its platform.

To improve user involvement, the latest update removes the need for third-party messaging apps like Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and others by facilitating easier connections between friends and family within the platform.

Reports say that the new feature includes highly anticipated group chats that support up to 32 participants on the platform which allows user-generated content in the form of short videos.
