Betta Edu, a former minister of disaster management and humanitarian affairs, has promised Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria will be refined in the next year.
This is what she said in a New Year’s message sent on Wednesday, the first day of 2025.
Edu predicts that 2025 will be a year of healing for Nigeria, opening up countless opportunities where hard effort leads to success for all stakeholders.
In order to fulfill the promises of “our renewed hopes,” she urged Nigerians to see the New Year as a revitalizing new dawn that would crystallize their goals and objectives.
2025 is like a chapter in a book that has yet to be written. As we believe that the New Year presents us with a new dawn to realize our hopes and aspirations, it is our responsibility to write optimism and hope into it.
“I am confident that 2025 will offer complete recovery from the difficulties and struggles of 2024. “This year will be dedicated to optimizing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” she stated.
Edu went on to say, “2025 has a lot of promise for our beloved nation. Nigerians will take control of their bright destiny in this year as the country’s present economic difficulties give way to a hopeful future where wealth will emerge.

“The President is well-meaning, but good intentions need time to work. I have faith in the Nigerian initiative. Nothing will ever alter my unwavering commitment to Nigeria and Nigerians.
Edu said, “I strongly encourage Nigerians to face the future with courage and a resounding sense of certainty that we are getting closer to the end of our difficult times as a country.”
