The Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has been candid about her present dating and marriage prospects.
The single mother said that she is currently in a stage of life where her potential suitors are either married or in their 50s.
In a recent appearance on the American podcast Air Service, Savage said that her present circumstances have left her amenable to taking a second wife.
“Those who are truly capable of marrying me are either in their 50s or have a spouse already.” Thus, I’m not sure. I could be a second wife, perhaps. In my opinion, yes. “I could serve as a second wife,” she remarked.
Tiwa Savage emphasized that she would be respectful and work-focused, and she promised that as a second wife, she wouldn’t cause any problems for her co-wife.
“I believe I can get along with the first wife, and she will love me since I won’t cause any problems. I will not be causing you any bother because I will be going on tours. Knowing that you are the first wife, I treat you with the utmost respect,” she continued.
From 2013 until 2018, music executive Tunji Balogun, also known as TBillz, was Tiwa Savage’s spouse. The pair is parents to a boy.
When their marriage dissolved, both parties accused one another of adultery.
