Impressive To be relevant, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has denied circulating rumors that she purposefully released her sex tape.
Recall that in October 2021, the singer made headlines when someone attempting to blackmail her posted her sex tape online.
Tiwa Savage was criticized and held accountable by some parts of the public for refusing to be coerced once the video was exposed.
But if Tiwa Savage had wanted to use the sex tape to gain sympathy, she would have been purposeful about it, she said in a recent interview with American radio station Hot 97.
“I was scolded for my sex video,” she claimed. Many people believe that my goal was to win people over. I was blamed by even those with platforms, who were really awful.
“I’m not sure how they failed to see me as the victim in this situation. They said that I did it to stay current. If I were doing it, I would have done it on purpose. Better lighting and lingerie would have been used, and my facial expressions would have been spot on.
In the meantime, Tiwa Savage recently confided in the public about a previous connection she had with a well-known figure.
The man, who was also in the spotlight, insisted on keeping their connection hidden, she disclosed in an appearance on The JMatt Show.
She first agreed to the arrangement, but Savage clarified that she later had concerns about it due to the tremendous measures he took to keep their secret safe.
She said the man insisted on acting as though they were strangers in public, including openly mixing with other people when she was around.
Savage acknowledged that the scenario became awkward, particularly when he acted in ways that prevented her from reacting, as this was all an effort to dispel suspicion.
