Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have completed the signings of Freddie Lawrie and Dexter Oliver from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a post via his X account on Friday.
According to Romano, the two signings will go straight into Man City’s academy side for the ongoing season.
Meanwhile, in another development, Chelsea Women have announced the signing of United States international Alyssa Thompson from NWSL side Angel City.
Thompson signed a contract with the Blues’ women team that will see her remain at the club until 2030.
The 20-year-old also has 22 caps with the USWNT so far in her international career.
Reacting after signing for Chelsea, Thompson said as quoted by the club’s website: “Chelsea is such an amazing club, one of the best in the world.
“Being able to play with players that are the best in the world is an amazing opportunity at such a young age and I want to learn, grow and develop a lot.”
