The Everton player’s attempt to incite Reds supporters during Wednesday night’s Merseyside derby on February 12 has angered Liverpool skipper Virgil van Dijk.

“We appreciate their celebrations, as they have every right to celebrate a goal like that,” Van Dijk said in TNT Sport after the incident. However, Curtis thought Doucoure’s behaviors were unprofessional and provocative.
It’s critical to recognize that both teams must overcome these obstacles, he added, underscoring the necessity for both teams to handle such circumstances. I expressed my worries to the referee on the control of the match.
In the end, the outcome maintained Liverpool’s lead over Arsenal in the Premier League standings by seven points. Liverpool will get ready to play Wolves at Anfield on Sunday.
