“Whom God has blessed no man can curse” – HRH Vincent Iwobi and entourage reaffirms support for HRH Chika Nwokedi as chairman council of Ndi Eze Lagos.

Ezendigbo of Sha Sha kingdom HRH Dr. Vincent Iwobi visited with a fellow Eze, HRH Chukwuakalika Madu Emmanuel Eze chimereze Ezendigbo Oriade Kingdom others, to felicitate with Eze Chika Nwokedi as the newly inaugurated chairman of the council of Ndi Eze Lagos state, says he is worthy of the new position hence a prompter to reciprocate Eze okpoko’s courtesy visit.
HRM Vincent Iwobi also seized the opportunity of the visit to give his royal blessings as a royal father, he says he has unquivering support for Eze Chika while he reaffirms stands. He further stated that the position assigned as the new council chairman of Ndi Eze Lagos amongst 165 traditional rulers of Igbo extinction in Lagos is well deserved.
Says as an old king, he is familiar with and can reach out to everyone of these numerous Ezes irrespective of their affiliations without demarcations as a royal father, stated that unity is paramount amongst ezeship as many of this traditional rulers started from grass to grace and by Gods design, a good number of the Igbo traditional rulers flourished as he also made reference to Bob Marley’s song of ” whom God has blessed no one can curse”.
He further stated that
God has blessed Eze okpoko and ordained him a leader even amongst his elders, he has taken up a mandate to create unity amongst the igbos as he had done with his organisation named “Ndi Igbo Buru Otu” even before coronation as a king…He has shown capacity and efficiency in handling matters arising as well as lead the igbos to make a progressive output.
The Igbos have played key roles in Lagos state development in unity as the igbos are indivisible entities but bad leadership is tearing this entities apart and that is why Eze Chika Nwokedi is being accepted and supported massively because leadership is not achieved rather it is inborn and we see him worthy of leading the igbos. He also said one of the virtues of a good leader is tolerance, wisdom, says age doesn’t define wisdom but there is need to allow fresh ideas from younger persons.
Eze Vincent also affirms that Eze Okpoko falls into the category of a born leader who naturally has the intuition to do what is right. Says his plans for the council is a very welcome development that will lead to actualisation and further foster unity amongst the Ndi Ezes. He stated that it is not an easy task to call for unity but achieveable by consulting the counsel of the right persons while actualising plans of a secretariat for the Ezes. The insurance scheme he wants to introduce to the Ezes is important as most of this leaders just bear the title without furturistic plan.
lastly he suggests that the Ezes should be screened to remove those who are just there for the title and not the responsibilities. Said recognition should go by your maturity, your antecedents and your role in the society, these are areas he will tackle. The screening and total integration of traditional rulers is necessary, we need to come back together as one and follow the order of our constitution, he said.
HRM Eze Chukwuakalika Madu Emmanuel Eze chimereze Ezendigbo Oriade Kingdom also told Naomisophysblog that meeting Eze Okpoko for the first time, he listened to his address and was impressed by his courage, and astuteness. As a crowned Eze whether new or old respect is paramount as long as you are a registered Igbo traditional rulers. Now that leadership has caught Eze Okpoko devinly, he is expected to listen to God and his spirit for wisdom.
He also advised Eze Chika Nwokedi to gather the factions together under one umbrella in unity, the project he intends to put in place is commendable, his idealogy will get good support even from the Lagos state govt and fellow Ndi Eze if he commences as intended. The secretariat will be a common ground where the Ezes can meet as well as other governmental organizations who have chosen to visit. He also prayed for wisdom like that of Solomon to rule significantly and execute his projects and plans one after the other as God has chosen Eze Okpoko to rule giant Ezes in Lagos state.
