Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory’s minister, has authorized a minimum pay of N70,000 for employees of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

The press secretary made this announcement to Anthony Odey, the head of the FCT Civil Service, on Tuesday.

Additionally, it stated that the improvement was made in order to alleviate the predicament of personnel employed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

The declaration mandated that the new National Minimum Wage of 75,000 naira be paid to Administration employees immediately.

The head of the civil service revealed that the minister also approved the payment of three months’ worth of arrears to all administration employees, effective November 2024.

The statement went on to say that the action was a component of the Minister’s dedication to the staff’s welfare and well-being.

The Head of Service claims that the gesture will further motivate the Administration’s complete workforce to assist the Minister in carrying out President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
