Women’s Group Applauds Lagos Lawmaker’s Commitment to Women’s Rights

A Women’s Group called IDEAL WOMEN (Mushin/Odi-Olowo), has expressed their appreciation to Hon. Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Mushin Constituency I, for his support and dedication to women’s empowerment.
During a visit to his office on Wednesday, the women commended Akinsanya for his various empowerment programs that have positively impacted the lives of women in the constituency.
Mrs. Olusanjo Adepeju Woman Leader IDEAL Club, Odi Olowo, and Alhaja Shadia Woman Leader IDEAL Club, Mushin Ajina, led the delegation to the lawmaker’s office.
Other members include Mrs. Bente Oluwatoyin (Lady T), Mrs. Rasaq Omolara (Salawa), Alhaja Surakat, and Alhaja Oyinbo Sheu.
They also congratulated him on his recent election victory and urged him to continue his efforts in improving the lives of his constituents, with a particular focus on women.
IDEAL Women pledged their support for the lawmaker and assured him of their assistance in any programs he initiates for the development of the constituency.
Expressing his gratitude, Akinsanya thanked the group for their visit and highlighted the projects he has undertaken to uplift the community. He emphasized that his achievements were not driven by self-interest, but rather by a genuine desire to improve the lives of the people he represents.
Akinsanya promised to further empower women and address their concerns, as well as other areas that would benefit women and youth. He acknowledged the support of the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, in providing opportunities for lawmakers to prioritize women’s issues.
In a demonstration of his commitment, Akinsanya highlighted his previous achievements, and empowerment program for constituents, job employment, sponsorship and scholarship programs, as well as skill acquisition initiatives.

It is evident that Akinsanya’s dedication to women’s empowerment and his continued efforts in improving the lives of his constituents have garnered recognition and support from the women’s group.
