Popular social media commentator, Daniel Regha has criticized Super Eagles players and their head coach, Eric Chelle following their 1-0 win against Rwanda in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Chelle watched as Nigeria defeated Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Substitute, Tolu Arokorade scored the game’s only goal in the second half.

However, Regha was not pleased with the outcome of the match, labelling the performances of Chelle’s men as huge embarrassment.

He added that Chelle only cares about three points and not if his team plays well.

In a post on X after the game, Daniel Regha said: “Super Eagles were a huge emb@rrassment, narrowly winning Rwanda by a lucky goal.

“For a team with some of the best world players, Nigeria should’ve done more instead of playing like primary school pupils

“If the team is struggling at this early stage, how can the players rival bigger teams when the tournament starts, if Nigeria manages to qualify.

“Our players aren’t showing seriousness, but all the coach seems to care about is 3 points. No offense.”
