CP Salem Vincent Amachree of Airport Command had a gathering of guest at the events hall of the prestigious Golden Tulip Airport Hotel in Lagos to celebrate his send forth with friends and colleagues.
Dignitaries who attended the occasion includes:HRH Eze Chika Nwokedi, the Ezendigbo Okpoko 1 of Ijegun Ijeododo, The Dept. Comptroller of Immigrations, Dept. Chairman of NDLEA, DCs from the airport Command, the director of Golden Tulip Mr and Mrs Nwuibuko, gallant police officers from junior to senior rank, the chairman pcrc Alh.Falekulo, Dr Obanla, members of the press and well wishers.
The occasion commenced with the introduction of guest, a brief introduction into the activities and achievements of CP Salem in his 35 years of meritorious service in the Nigerian Police , testimonies of his goodly nature from officers, various sectors who attended the program and appraisal of his relationship with non partisans.
The brief but event packed ceremony was highly appreciated by guest especially HRM CC Nwokedi who earnestly commended the outgoing officer for his ever steadfast professional prowess displayed In the most humane form of his identity as a law enforcement personnel, described him as a man of great repute.
He narrated how far he has come to know the man CP. Salem who has created a positive impact in his area of specialization,yet diverse In acquiring knowledge that cuts across policing into medicine and judiciary system to further enhance himself for the days ahead bearing in mind that knowledge is power.
HRH also encourages CP Salem to keep up the good work even after leaving the Police Force as he is lucky to be alive to see to the end of his service amidst many officers who didn’t get to reach the peak of their career due to misfortunes along the way leading to their demise, he wished the outgoing CP a more fulfilled life in good health and sound mind.
