Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi was criticized by Nigerian television personality Destiny Ezeyim, often known as Radiogad, when he was spotted eating food at a function.
Video from the celebration in Umuchima, Imo State, was said to show Obi carrying trays and giving food to guests.
Additionally, he was observed grinning and engaging in cordial conversation with attendees.
But the gesture was not taken lightly by Radiogad.
He characterized Obi’s conduct as eye service and a desperate attempt to gain political power in a widely shared internet tirade on Friday.
He claimed that the former governor of Anambra acted like a typical waiter and made an excessive effort to be modest in order to win over Nigerians.
Nigerians, according to Radiogad, prefer strong, decisive leaders over Obi’s lenient style.
