Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organization in Zamfara State, was kidnapped by gunmen who are thought to be bandits.
Security analyst Bakatsine disclosed the incident in a post on X on Thursday.
The article claims that during the assault, more than thirty armed men broke into Gusau’s house in Gusau town and took him away.
According to reports, the kidnapping happened in front of his wife, upsetting the family.
Bakatsine revealed that although security services were notified right after, there has been no success in finding the victim.
In response to the tragedy, the security analyst questioned whether violent attacks would continue in the area and how long Zamfara inhabitants would have to live in fear of banditry.
“Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu/Shettima, Zamfara Chapter, is kidnapped by gunmen believed to be bandits.” Before his wife, more than thirty armed men broke into his Gusau home and kidnapped him. Security services were notified, but nothing has been found yet.
