In the 2027 elections, the Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) reconciliation committee, headed by Senator Muhammad Mana, has promised to retake the state from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
There have reportedly been internal problems within the state chapter lately, which have caused divisions within the party.
In order to bring the party together, the National Secretariat established a reconciliation committee.
Yusuf Buba Yakubu, Dr. Bridget Zidon, Isa Baba, and Senators Bello Tukur, Abubakar Girei, and Binta Masi were among the eight members of the reconciliation team.
The committee’s chairman, Mana, told reporters following a closed-door meeting Thursday night at the APC national office in Abuja that the team’s mission was to settle internal conflicts and bring members together, as assigned by the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In order to get started, the committee intends to engage party members at the local government, ward, and unit levels.
Mana stated that the committee would concentrate on reestablishing grassroots ties, interacting with disgruntled members, and fortifying the party’s organizational framework.
“We want to make sure that the state returns to its former position because Adamawa has been a very critical APC state,” he stated. We shall now return and inform the entire state that it is time to come together.

“You know, the general election and the primary election were the catalysts for our crisis. Those who believe their contributions to the state were not adequately recognized and those who lost the election.
We have been given the task by the national chairman to go and plead with them to ensure that the party is united under the APC’s banner in general.
Mana stated, “In addition to appealing to our party members, we will reach out to the grassroots, unit, local government, and ward levels to make sure that everyone joins the group.”
Mana stated, “We want to prepare the next generation of leaders and establish a platform for unity.”
