Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to join forces with President Bola Tinubu.
According to reports, Ambassador Mumuni claimed that the President and former Vice President Atiku’s political rivalry was impeding the advancement of the country.
Rasheed Abubakar, his media assistant, issued a statement on Tuesday in which Mumuni lamented the daily struggles of the populace.
The leader of the APC urged President Tinubu and Atiku to work together to solve the country’s problems.
He said: “We are at a pivotal point in the history of our country during these trying times. It is becoming more and more clear that our political leaders’ disagreements, especially those between President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, are preventing the country from moving forward. Even while the recurring complaints are legitimate in and of themselves, they must be put aside for the benefit of our dear nation and its people.
Nigerians are fed up with the protracted crises brought on by political unrest, which have caused needless suffering, instability, and fatalities. Instead of lacking the insight and foresight of its leaders, our country lacks the solidarity and cooperation necessary to turn setbacks into chances for progress. As the demand for efficient governance reverberates throughout the nation, many people have become disillusioned due to the lack of candid dialogue among our political elite.
I implore Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and others to acknowledge the strength of cooperation in tackling the urgent problems facing our nation.

When they work together, they can become a ray of hope, proving that collaboration is more important than competition. Together, they can pave the way for genuine communication, peacemaking, and collaboration that puts the well-being of all Nigerians first.
“Let’s shift our focus to productive dialogues that address important topics like healthcare, education, security, and economic recovery. Leaders who are prepared to set aside personal grievances in favor of a better future are what our citizens deserve. The world is looking on, and history will honor those who dared to bridge differences and strive for the country’s overall good.
In keeping with this, we urge both leaders to call a summit so that their issues may be freely aired and solutions can be worked out together. Let’s encourage hope and a fresh sense of direction among Nigerians.
