@65: Amb.Steve Nwose solicit good governance, charges FG against maladministration.

Ambassador Steve Nwose, an Advisory Board Member of Voice Out Nigeria News, Convener of “SPEAK UP NIGERIA”, a multiple award winning icon, an ambassador of peace, a philanthropy highly recognized for his magnanimity towards the underprivileged celebrates an added age @65, advocates for good governance in accordance with the emergence of a new administration in Nigeria .
On the occasion of Amb. Steve’s birthday, he revealed the significance created yearly to commemorate with an added age. Says his act of magnanimity is orchestrated for the purpose of philanthropy to ease off the hardship melted out on some underprivileged persons especially the old and vulnerable whom are mostly uncared for due to poverty and neglect by the government. It is shameful that the FGN do not have any plan in place to help the aged and young persons, no provisional palliatives to fall back on when the chips are down, he said.
Significantly, Amb. Steve Nwose noted that this year’s birthday anniversary holds yet another special package, a display of philanthropy to those in his community and other areas where the less priviledged dwell in Nigeria. Says he will assist those who are badly in need especially the old folks faced with poor living conditions mostly affected by economic hardship, the children of the poor will be aided with school supplies to enhance easy learning and so on. Urges other resourceful Nigerians to follow suit in extending aids to the less priviledged while soliciting for good governance.
As the convener of Speak Up Nigeria, a group with its roots in the United States, Amb Steve told Naomisophyblog that he is inclined to always talk about issues arising from the irregularities of federal government’s decision and its negative effects on her citizens especially when the pacesetter is conflicting. However the need for good governance should be advocated by members of the public as it is shameful to reckon with rigged elections, never accepting and further violating the free will of people on certain decisions.
One of such democratic impediment and violation of the people’s right to privacy is seen in CBN’s social media rule mandating banks to verify customer’s social media handles as part of the know your customer procedure. Not everyone has a social media account that is functioning, some don’t even have at all, at least on the scale of 1 to 10, we can say it’s a 6/10 if we have to put on scale the active users. Could this mean another breach of the people’s right to privacy or a total shut out of the people’s free rights to express opinion based on the govt’s deficiencies on social media?, This development is rather incomprehensible rather than acceptable to the populace, Amb. Steve opined.

Finally, he implored Nigerians to exercise patience with the judiciary system as regards the just concluded election and the pronouncement made against the will of many Nigerians, implore the masses to allow the judiciary rectify the obvious mistakes deliberately committed to destabilize the people’s choice. The judiciary interprets the law and should not work against its ethics as this is tantamount to a failed system.
