Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, stated on Monday that he battled “morning, afternoon, and night” during his time in office.
Fayose observed that the current governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, is in a comfortable position.
In celebration of Oyebanji’s third year in office, he gave a speech at the Igbaraodo-Ikogosi road commissioning.
Fayose praised Oyebanji for his progress in the state after taking office as governor.
“I am only here to celebrate Ekiti with you. You have raised the bar, brought everyone together, and transformed this state into a state of purpose, unity among all of us, regardless of our political party,” he declared.
“I constantly tell you that I am not and never will be a member of your party. Although I support the PDP, I applaud a governor who has demonstrated the ability to make things better.
“I engaged in combat during my time as governor. It was conflict in the morning, the afternoon, and the night.
“You are comfortably riding and doing everything for the people of Ekiti.” You wouldn’t understand the importance of God if there weren’t dogs barking during the primary election.
“I have decided not to mention the names of those dogs that are barking on the internet but are not from Ekiti because doing so gives them relevance.”
“The variety of work you have completed is self-evident. We support him, and anyone who does not support this governor will be embarrassed.
