Evidence that suggests Nigerian legislator Ned Nwoko may have wed his estranged wife Regina Daniels before she reached 18 has been made public by activist Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore stated on his Facebook page that Nwoko married Regina when she was still a minor and took her abroad shortly after she became eighteen.
In response to the lawmaker’s assertions that he wed Regina at age 21 rather than 17, Sowore made this statement.
Nwoko had provided a Regina voter’s card to support his assertion.
However, Sowore included a photo of Regina’s passport in his tweet to demonstrate that the actress wasn’t 21 when she wed the legislator.
