In a petition dated December 29, 2025, Ejiofor stated that it is now necessary to formally inform the public and the global world about what he called a planned campaign of hostility and intimidation.

The Oraifite native from Anambra State’s Ekwusigo Local Government Area noted that the growing threats to his life and his family’s safety made the public warning relevant.

He emphasized that the alert prompted calls, messages, and comments of profound concern from well-intentioned people from all social classes.

The human rights attorney went on to say that in spite of the public outrage, the threats have unfortunately continued and gotten worse, requiring him to present the historical and true story to the globe.

Recall that I issued a public warning about clear and real threats to my life and my family’s safety. Well-meaning people from all social classes called, messaged, and expressed their profound concern in response to that alarm.

Unfortunately, these dangers have since continued and gotten worse rather than better, which is why I have to present this historical and accurate story to the public.

“It is well known that I am currently spending the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations with my family at my ancestral home in Oraifite, Anambra State,” the appeal stated in part.
