Alabo Tammy Wenike Danagogo, a former secretary to the Rivers State Government, has assured Governor Siminalayi Fubara that he has his full support.
At the 2026 New Year’s banquet held at the government house in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Danagogo made the assurance.
The governor was praised by him for joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He claimed that the state and the country would advance if they aligned with the federal government.
He characterized Fubara as a unifier and peacemaker who strives for peace regardless of opposition.
“We may not tell you directly, but we are all behind you,” he remarked. We support you in your endeavor to align with the center, fostering cooperation with the federal government and the ruling party.
Nigeria and Rivers State would undoubtedly advance as a result. You are a unifier and a mediator. Have faith that God is in control and on the throne, regardless of your level of strength.

In the meantime, Fubara has asked his followers to maintain composure in the face of the state’s recent political upheavals.
