In accordance with orders from the party’s national headquarters, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State formally began its electronic membership registration drive on Monday throughout the whole state.

Ahmed Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, officially opened the exercise.

In an occasion that drew a sizable crowd of party supporters, including the state chairman of the APC, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, former state governor Yahaya Bello was electronically registered at his Agasa Ward in Okene Local Government Area.

Speaking soon after registering, Bello called the activity timely and praiseworthy, pointing out that it will enhance direct communication between the party and its members and build internal party solidarity.

He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continuous efforts to reposition the nation for sustainable growth and development and described the APC as a party for all Nigerians. Bello praised the President’s determination to make Nigeria competitive on a global scale, especially in the fields of economic growth and the development of human capital.

Bello urged party members to actively take part in the e-membership registration process, explaining that the program would immediately link registered members to government interventions and empowerment initiatives under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration.

“Let me thank everyone for coming to this exercise today. I want to reassure you that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our President and leader, has positive plans for the people of this wonderful country and will keep doing more for them.

“The National Identification Number (NIN) requirement in the e-registration procedure demonstrates that members are directly connected to the party leadership and can be accessed for empowerment and other advantages without the need for middlemen. I implore you to encourage your family members to take part in this activity,” he stated.

Bello emphasized that the APC is still the most powerful political party in Kogi State and advised party members to take the upcoming elections seriously. In order to maintain the party’s political success, he urged voters to support APC candidates at all levels in next elections.

He urged Nigerians to be patient and to keep supporting the President’s reform plan, which he described as well-intentioned and centered on long-term national prosperity, while acknowledging that development frequently entails difficulties.

Additionally, Bello thanked the state party executive, local government chairmen, grassroots leaders, party ambassadors, and all devoted APC supporters throughout Kogi State for their ongoing support.

The APC’s State Chairman, Abdullahi Bello, had earlier told the assembly that the e-registration process will continue in all 21 local government areas of the state after the governor and previous governor were registered.

In order to successfully complete the exercise within the time frame established by the party’s national leadership, he urged party members to cooperate, show understanding, and participate promptly.

Party executives, local government chairmen, local government party chairmen, and a large number of local party supporters were present at the occasion.
