Baby Testimony’s Disappearance: Iche Calls for Probe into Pastor Chris Okafor, Pastor Jeremiah, and Doris Ogala

A controversy has erupted involving prominent Nigerian pastors Chris Okafor and Jeremiah (Papa J) and Nollywood actress Doris Ogala over allegations of covering up the disappearance of a baby known as Baby Testimony. Doris Ogala has claimed that the pastors gave her ₦54 million, allegedly to keep quiet about the baby’s whereabouts, sparking outrage and calls for investigation.
Comrade Prince Saviour Iche, a human rights advocate, in his analysis of the above situation, noted that Doris Ogala has confessed that she received 54 million Naira from Pastor Chris Okafor and Pastor Jeremiah (referred to as Papa J).
According to Doris Ogala’s confession, the pastors initially offered her a car but later gave her ₦54 million to cover up the issue related to Baby Testimony’s disappearance, which Prophet S. from South Africa was trying to uncover.
Iche further said,
“The Nigerian Police should at this point launch an arrest on Doris Ogala, Chris Okafor, and Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin to clarify their involvement in the case, as the mother of Baby Testimony continues to seek justice for her missing child.”
“Public outcry is urged, especially from Nigerian women and civil society groups, to demand accountability from Doris Ogala and the pastors regarding the circumstances surrounding the financial transaction and the missing child.”
Iche asserted that this issue cannot be overlooked, emphasising the need for a thorough investigation by Nigerian security agencies, including the police and DSS. He raised concerns regarding Pastor Jeremiah’s previous televised claims about locating Baby Testimony, as no progress has been made in uncovering the child’s location.
He added that the public is closely monitoring the actions of law enforcement agencies to see if they will take action and hold those involved accountable in this troubling case.
The allegations have sparked outrage and calls for investigation, with the baby’s mother still searching for answers about her child’s disappearance. The matter has gained significant attention, with demands for the Nigerian Police, DSS, and other security agencies to take action.
