According to Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, everyone who truly cares about the state’s citizens must support President Bola Tinubu’s Federal Government.
According to reports, Governor Yusuf made the claim during a courtesy call on Monday with members of the Ward and Local Government Congress Committee, stating that Kano’s development now required political alignment with the center.
Yusuf defended his current political stance and defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), arguing that Kano State benefited from partnering with the Federal Government.
The Federal Government has missed a lot, so anyone with good intentions for the Kano people should support it, he said.
The governor emphasized that unity with the federal government will promote better development and access to federal help, pointing out that certain possibilities may have been lost due to political conflicts in the past.
Yusuf added that the political class in Kano is more unified now than it has ever been in the state’s history.
He claims that attempts to promote reconciliation have increased throughout the state since he and a number of other senior figures defected to the APC.
There have been additional reunions since we joined APC. He said that even split families were reconciling.
He said that Kano’s political climate now is characterized by a reinvigorated sense of unity and purpose.
The Ward and Local Government Congress Committee received praise from the governor as well for what he called a successful exercise throughout the state.
For their efforts in making sure the ward and local government congresses ran well, he commended the committee members.
In a message to Kano State Governor Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary revealed the situation.
During the sharing formula of party positions, Lantep Dabang, the chairman of the Ward/LGA Congress Committee, commended the governor for his “fair and compassionate leadership.”
He described Yusuf as a leader who is motivated by fairness and integrity and praised his approach to internal party issues.
“Governor Abba Yusuf is a man of justice and integrity,” Dabang declared.
