By Naomisophyblog

Bella Amor Global Aid Foundation, in strategic partnership with the Nigeria Customs Service, has successfully concluded the Mo’Feed Project in Akwa Ibom State, marking a significant milestone in humanitarian outreach and food security intervention.

The large-scale initiative directly impacted over 5,000 beneficiaries, including children, widows, persons living with disabilities, underserved families, and vulnerable youths across six Local Government Areas. The outreach commenced in the Uyo Local Government Area and extended to Mkpat Enin, Esit Eket, Nsit Ubium, and Etinan, and concluded in Nsit Atai, ensuring inclusive and statewide coverage.

Observers note that the project went beyond food distribution, addressing broader social welfare needs while restoring dignity and hope to vulnerable households. Community leaders and beneficiaries described the intervention as impactful and timely, particularly amid ongoing economic challenges.

The Bella Amor Foundation sincerely acknowledges the Comptroller-General of Customs, Sir Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, for his leadership and support through the Customs Cares Initiative, which facilitated the collaboration. His administration has continued to emphasise corporate social responsibility and institutional partnerships aimed at strengthening community development.

The Foundation also acknowledged the dedication of officers who were present throughout the outreach, ensuring seamless coordination and professional execution across all locations. Special recognition was given to the Comptroller, CSR Unit, and M. P. Ibrahim for his hands-on leadership and unwavering support during the project.

Stakeholders noted that the active involvement of officers on the ground significantly contributed to the overall success of the initiative. The collaboration has further reinforced public perception of the Nigeria Customs Service as an exceptional institution committed not only to its statutory mandate but also to advancing humanitarian causes and community development.

Notably, Bella Amor Global Aid Foundation is reported to be the first non-governmental organisation to partner with the Nigeria Customs Service at this scale under the current framework, highlighting a growing synergy between public institutions and the nonprofit sector.

Stakeholders have described the Mo’Feed Project as a model for future humanitarian collaborations designed to advance food security and social protection across Nigeria.

We remain deeply grateful for the trust placed in our foundation and reaffirm our commitment to delivering sustainable, people-centred interventions that transform lives and communities.
