With observers and party insiders speculating on potential zoning arrangements and potential candidates for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket, the instruction has increased political tension, consultations, and permutations throughout the state.
According to political analysts, the party’s changing dynamics might favor the governorship ticket being assigned to the Lagos East senatorial district.
Some well-known politicians from the area have been forced to participate in early talks for the party’s ticket as a result of the development.
