Prophet Joshua Iginla of the Champion Royal Assembly says that Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, is the only person who can give President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) a tough fight in 2027.
He said that Obi, who is one of the top candidates for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential ticket, only needs a northern deputy to give the APC a strong fight.
During a live Sunday service, Iginla told the congregation not to let Obi run for office as a deputy.
He said, “This is how I feel about politics.” Put Peter Obi in charge of the opposition party and let any Northerner be his deputy. Then we will have a fight.
“Peter Obi, don’t. If you vice anyone, you have lost your political importance. You should go zero and let them do their own thing. The problem is so easy that you need to be patient if you want to get there.
