Four individuals who are accused of raping two juveniles in the state have been taken into custody by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps’ Osun State Command.
On December 3, the accused, Sadiq Opeyemi, 30, Afeez Olalekan, 26, Ismail Ibrahim, 30, and Abdulahi Garba, 33, were taken into custody in the state’s Iwo Local Government Area.
The two kids, who were 13 years old each, were defiled, according to Mr. Igbalawole Sotiyo, the NSCDC Commandant in Osun, who paraded the accused Thursday in the state capital of Osogbo.
He claimed that the suspects used N500 to entice the females and had multiple sexual encounters with them, and that the offenders admitted to the crime.

The girls, who were living with their grandparents, were subjected to the suspects’ tactics while trying to survive, according to the commandant.
“These minors have not received proper care while living with their grandparents.
The four accused mistreated them while they searched for a way to survive.
“A discreet investigation showed that the suspects were the ones who perpetrated the crime.
“I want to reassure the public that those who commit this crime will be subject to the full force of the law in order to deter future criminals in the community,” he stated.
After handing the girls money, the suspects acknowledged to reporters that they had slept with them at various times and locations.
