The substantive Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been nominated by the Federal Government and is Capt. Chris Najomo.

Our correspondent was informed by a National Assembly source on Friday that Najomo’s name was forwarded to the Senate for verification and screening over the week.

Since his appointment by President Bola Tinubu on December 13, 2023, Najomo has served in an acting position throughout the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
