President Bola Tinubu is confident that Nigerians will support him in 2027, according to Daniel Bwala, his Special Advisor on Media and Policy Communication.
Bwala reportedly said this in an interview with TVC on Thursday.
Nigerians already understood the President was confronting all issues and resolving their problems, he emphasized.
“The individuals who will cast ballots are the foundation of our comfort, security, and leisure. Both the opposition and the media will not cast ballots, you know. The Nigerian people are the ones who decide who will remain in power or who will be elected, even though they will cast their votes. The food on the table and the deliverables are what they are worried about, aren’t they? Nigeria’s future, their children’s future, infrastructure, and education. They worry about that before they go to bed, before they eat dinner, and whenever they go to bed. When they put the children to sleep and go to bed before they eventually shut down, they think about their children’s future.
“The President is implementing reform to address all of these issues practically, allowing you to stop worrying about your child’s future. Access will exist if your child is placed in an educational program. It need not be the offspring of a wealthy person,” he stated.
Being from a minority community in the North, the former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign committee clarified that he would not have climbed to the position he presently has if it weren’t for President Tinubu.
Consider the image of me sitting here. I advise the President as a special advisor. Name the dictatorship that would have given me that chance to be a minority from the North,” he said.
Bwala went on to say that the only political parties that have failed to recognize the progress being done in the fields of education and the economy are the opposition ones.
The opposition, he claimed, chose to ignore the interventions and increase the nation’s suffering.
That is the opposition’s rhetoric. What is the estimated duration? What is the estimated duration? They are unaware that it has begun because they are so blinded. It resembles a rupture. You, not Nigerians, have spoken their sentiment. However, the opposition is the one who uses that catchphrase as a weapon, in my opinion. You understand why I said that? Are APC members impacted by the NELFUND? Are you aware of the number of students affected—hundreds of thousands?

Considering that, how do you determine when it will matter? It has begun to take shape already. Take agriculture, for instance. And observe how Nigeria has undergone revolutionary change in many regions.
“Are you able to plant a seed the next morning when you visit the farm? The following day, you have no seed. But there is one thing I can promise you. The following day, you will notice that there has been a steady increase. When you return after a week, you discover a spread. It is impossible to claim that this progressive growth is irrelevant before maturation occurs. When assessing the advancement of agricultural farming, they are most pertinent.
“In 2027, it is the people that matter not the noisemakers,” he added.
