After allegedly being shot by a security guard dressed in police uniform, an unnamed officer from the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC) Lagos State command has been reported injured.
According to information obtained, the incident happened during an enforcement operation aimed at detecting fake license plates, which was a component of a larger project started by the FRSC under the Lagos Sector Command.

Reports state that as of the time this report was filed, Kehinde Hamzat, the Corps Commander in charge of overseeing the operation, had not disclosed any specifics regarding the incident.
But as he looks into the details behind this regrettable incident, he urged reporters to exercise patience.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) affiliation of the security officers involved is still unknown, and as of this report, no remarks from Lagos police authorities have been made on the subject.
