Claims that Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke disparaged President Bola Tinubu in relation to the state’s upcoming local government elections have been denied.
He referred to the reports as untrue and advised the public to ignore the inaccurate information.
Governor Adeleke told reporters after voting on Saturday that he was grateful to President Tinubu for maintaining the rule of law, which he said enabled the local government elections. The President’s dedication to democratic values, he underlined, has reinforced democratic processes across the board.
“Let me affirm that I know Mr. President to be a true democrat, a lover of the rule of law, and a believer in the sanctity of the judicial process,” the governor said in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

“I am aware that Mr. President will never approve of a dictatorial constitutional violation, regardless of the parties involved.” It’s important to note that the President will never condone any activity that could cause chaos and bloodshed.
Regarding Mr. President, I stated in my second broadcast: “We have faith in President Tinubu’s democratic credentials, and we know that he will always uphold the rule of law.”
In the local government elections, he was confident that his party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), would win.
