As part of Operation Safe Haven, troops from the Nigerian Army’s 3 Division have captured firearms and captured a notorious gunrunner along the Bokkos-Bot-Mangu road in Plateau State’s Bokkos Local Government Area.
This information was released on Thursday by Zagazola Makama, a security analyst.
Based on accurate intelligence about the movement of weapons and ammunition in the area, he said, the operation was carried out.

Sengi David, 21, of Kopal Village in the Panyam District of Mangu LGA, was apprehended Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. while trying to smuggle the guns.
According to the report, “he was discovered in possession of 48 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one AK-47 magazine bearing civil police markings.”
