Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s trade and export aide Shimite Winifred Bello passed away.
According to reports, Bello passed away on Monday due to alleged domestic abuse.
Harrison Gwamnishu, another governor’s aide and human rights advocate, verified her death, though the incident’s specifics are still unclear.

On Monday, April 21, Gwamnishu lamented the death of his colleague in a Facebook post.
“Oh, marriage is not by force,” said Victor Ojie, a human rights activist, in another post. Hey, losing your marriage is better than losing your life.
According to Oge Okonkwo, another social media user, Bello’s husband was taken into custody by the police after she died.
Tameta Sunday, Bello’s aide, claimed that her husband killed her.
In one post, Sunday wrote, “It’s really hard to type RIP boss, knowing fully well that an ugly soul called a pastor with a gentle look as a husband cut all the positive plans we had together.”
