previous President Goodluck Jonathan is the only contender who can compete with President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, according to Chief Dele Momodu, a previous presidential candidate.
Jonathan would probably not want to get involved in such political activities again, he continued.
Chief Momodu claims that Jonathan has shown satisfaction with his current accomplishments because he never imagined reaching such high political positions.

The leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) went on to say that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is the only other candidate Tinubu and his team are scared of in the 2027 election, which is why they have been politically targeting him in an effort to demarket him before the election.
According to reports, Momodu made the comment while discussing the Nigerian political climate at the moment and the prospects for the 2027 election in an interview with New Telegraph.
He asserted that only a Goodluck Jonathan, for instance, could challenge Tinubu from the South. But he probably wouldn’t want to put himself under too much stress.
He is not the type of person; you can see that he is a contented man and an intellectual who feels that he never anticipated to reach that level, no matter where he travels. Therefore, it could be challenging for him. Atiku Abubakar is the one man they are afraid of, which is why they are already demarketing him beforehand.
