The PDP established a committee on Sunday to make sure the National Convention and National Executive Council meeting go well.

During an emergency meeting of governors and former governors in Abuja on Sunday, the party established the seven-member committee.
The committee, led by former Senate President Bukola Saraki, has been tasked with making sure that there is no animosity of any kind during the May 27 NEC meeting.

Saraki responded to the development by stating that the emergency meeting’s discussions were productive.

He added that current and former PDP governors discussed the party’s problems and potential fixes.

Sataki claims that the group was established in order to steer the PDP in a new direction.

“My modest self is in charge of the committee, and I would enjoy collaborating with my brothers, who are the governors of Zamfara, Plateau, and Enugu States, respectively: HE Dauda Lawal, HE Caleb Muftwang, and HE Peter Mba.

Saraki wrote on X, “Other members are Sen. Seriake Dickson, Sen. Ibrahim Dankwambo, and Chief Okezie Ikpeazu, HE, former governor of Abia State.”

He also pledged his complete dedication to completing the work assigned to him and the other committee members.

“We want to give the task we were given our best effort,” he continued.
