Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, is a social media figure and entertainer who has criticized Senator Orji Kalu of Abia North for his group’s support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
Kalu was said to have worn an attire with the words “Tinubu for President 2027” on it when he attended Tuesday’s senate session.
Kalu told reporters at the National Assembly that his outfit was a “open endorsement” of President Bola Tinubu’s reelection.

The senator claimed that other people had already adopted the campaign attire.
“People are already wearing it; I’m not the first person to wear it,” Kalu stated.
Charly Boy called the politician a clown while posting a photo of Kalu on Instagram. The lawmaker, he said, had elevated sycophancy to a new level.
“Look, look, look,” he wrote. Sycophancy has been elevated to a new level by some of them my yeye worthless Igbo brethren; this is a Tufiakwa issue. Dia fathers. Criminals are everywhere. Please, someone respond to me.
