The Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has been challenged by veteran writer and Ovation Magazine publisher Dele Momodu to switch to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During a broadcast on Arise News, Momodu charged that Wike would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven.
The protracted internal turmoil of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was attributed by him to Wike’s resentment at losing the 2023 vice presidential ticket.
The governors of the party are now helpless, Momodu raged, adding that Wike can now disrespect them as he pleases without repercussions.
He said, “Today’s PDP governors have no authority. Wike will humiliate and mistreat them there. Their speech is nonexistent. As individuals have departed today, I’ve heard Damagum is now claiming to be courting them. He said in another report that they will be sanctioned.

You cannot woo them or penalize them since they have already departed. They’re not children. They pleaded for two years. Wike has not been comforted by the fact that he lost his bid for vice president. I mention it whenever I talk about him. “Good guy, he’s trying to build infrastructure, but you can’t forgive this anger?”
In order to maintain power, Momodu also stated that Wike would prefer to remain in the PDP, stating, “I dare him to join APC tomorrow.” Let him join APC if he has the courage to do so. The president recently informed him, “We’ll welcome you when you’re ready to join us.” No, he cannot. For him, ruling in hell is preferable to serving in heaven.
