Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), claims opponents of progress are upset because he has reconciled with his successor, suspended Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Wike made the announcement on Thursday during a media interview in Abuja, claiming that peace has returned to the state.

He claimed that many persons had exploited the state’s crises into a “oil well,” pulling illicit monies for their own gain.
The minister went on to say that he owes no one an explanation for the terms of the truce he and Fubara reached.
